Our surgery has the most modern system of digital radiovisiography (RVG).
Thanks to it, the doctor can take a photo within 1 minute and discuss it with the patient on the screen. Thanks to the application of a digital sensor, the dose of radiation was limited by 90%.
Therefore 9 RVG films give the radiation equal that of one photofluorogram on classic roentgen film.
The radiation of one RVG is a dose which we would obtain from the space spending one whole day in the open air.
The software enables the doctor to make additional measurements, such as:
the measurement of the length of the canal or relative density of the bone.
Every stage of endodontic treatment can be monitored on the stomatological armchair, therefore in most cases the treatment can be performed during one visit.
At patient's request, the film can be give in a diskette.
Another advantage of RVG is ecology.
The application of RVG eliminates the application of chemical reagents.
