Tetric® Flow

A micro-hybrid composite material of a semi-liquid consistence, visible in X-ray films. Designed for maintenance stomatology and for cementing of permanent prosthetic complementations, made of ceramic or composite materials. Thanks to its low viscosity, Tetric Flow optimally wets the surface of the tooth. Tetric Flow material can be used on its own or in connection with Tetric Ceram, Heliomolar radiopaque, Helio Progress, Te-Econom and with the majority of other light-hardenable composite materials. Tetric Flow undergoes polymerisation under the influence of light including the waves of 400-500 nm of length (blue light of a halogen lamp).

Indications:

  • Filling defects in permanent teeth of class 5, root erosions and wedge defects.
  • Filling defects in permanent front teeth of class 3 and 4.
  • Filling small defects in permanent premolar and molar teeth.
  • Tightening of wide furrows and slots in premolar and molar teeth.
  • Undercut filling.
  • Filling all kinds of small defects,
  • Repair of veneers made of composite or ceramic materials.
  • Blocking of undercuts.
  • Adhesion cementing of permanent prosthetic restorations, made of composite or ceramic materials.
  • Immobilising moving teeth.

Advantages:

  • Extraordinary aesthetic effect of the filling, which is the result of the adaptation of the material to the colour of surrounding teeth tissues (the chameleon effect).
  • Material's consistence facilitating wetting the walls of the defect and its adaptation to them.
  • Lowered sensitivity of the material to light around, which prolongs the time dedicated to modelling of the filling.
  • A very high contrast in X-rays, which allows to easily distinguish the caries from the filling material.
  • Release of fluorine, which favours remineralisation of tooth tissues.
  • A very even surface of the filling, thanks to which the risk of creation of dental plate is limited.
